Conveniently positioned just steps away from the 544 acre sandy bottomed lake and the snowmobile trail, this gorgeous home offers everything you may be looking for any time of the year!

Loon Watch features a fieldstone gas fireplace, knotty pine walls, central air, tiled bathrooms, an open concept first floor with stunning views of the lake from nearly every angle, lakeside fire pit, grill, picnic table, pier, paddleboat, HDTV and DVD player, high speed internet, ROKU internet TV services including ESPN, HBO, Showtime, Netflix and more.

The main floor has a bedroom with a queen bed and a full bathroom, along with a kitchen, dining area and living room. The second floor has 2 rooms with a queen and twin bed in each room, which are adjoined by a full Jack and Jill bath. Also on the second floor is the 4th bedroom, which has 2 twin beds. All rooms are furnished with classic Northwood’s decor to complete your up-north experience.

Whether you are looking for a place to fish, swim, snowmobile or simply sit back and listen to the beautiful call of the loons, a stay in our home will make your vacation one to remember!

We had a wonderful time. This was the first northern Wisconsin trip for our our three California grandchildren. The lake was a perfect depth for little waders and the caught small fish that thrilled them.

Great times!!

This was the 1st time we rented through Hillers and was not a disappointment at all. Everything was cleaned and ready to go. Amazed on how well equipped the kitchen was. All the extras they had for us to use. Games, outdoor games, lifevest for people that forgot them, outdoor chairs. Very comfortable furniture and beds. Looking forward to next year.

The cabin was perfect. Very clean, well stocked. Amazing sunrises, not too many clear nights so hard to star gaze. Lake was great for our kayaks and used the available paddleboat. Caught some small panfish from the dock. Saw/heard the local loon often. Beds were comfortable, nice reading materials were there including local history. It is quite close/directly across from the Murmuring Waters lodge, the lodges lakefront is directly next door. Generally not too disruptive, they close at 11pm and are closed on wednesdays.

The view of the lake was lovely and the place was clean however there were no curtains to protect us from the front of the house which faces a very busy bar that how about music until 11 PM.

The house we rented was perfect for our family. Very clean and enough bedrooms for all. Great location if you want to explore the area. The lake was prefect large enough but small enough to enjoy with it not to busy. Would rent with Hiller Homes again.

Snowmobiling Weekend

Stayed for 3 nights on a snowmobile trip with friends. Great location next to lake, trail and bar/restaurant across the street. Plenty of space for the group. Only complaint was pillows were a bit lumpy, otherwise property was in great condition.

The only thing I wish we would have known a head of time is that the lake is shallow. My trolling motor had to be brought up almost to the top. Otherwise my stay was wonderful. Thanks

We had a fabulous time, my grown kids can’t stop talking about this vacation. Beautiful scenery, plenty of space, clean. I guess the only thing was having trouble getting direct tv to work, but I think that was a good thing. With so much nature who needs tv.

We had 3 married couples and 3 children 6, 4 and 2 at loon watch in early June. We had space for everyone, the dock and yard, sandbox and firepit were all great hits. Close enough to St Germain that if you needed something your could make a run. We cooked in each night, used paper plates since there is no Dishwasher. But seating for everyone and well stocked kitchen. Great supply of outdoor chairs and life jackets (including kids sizes) already at the house. We would probably rent again if we choose that area again.

Awesome cabin. Beautiful lake views and plenty of room for the 8 adults in our group. Super clean cabin and very well decorated. Being across from a bar was perfect for our group. Plenty of parking too. The owners at Hiller are very nice folks.
