Dragonfly Inn features an open concept living room, kitchen and dining room with sweeping cathedral ceilings and massive lake facing windows. Beautiful wood accents and a sweeping stone fireplace gives the entire home a warm, rustic glow all with all the modern amenities of being at home.
Two bedrooms are conveniently located on the main level with a full bathroom. Another bedroom, full bath and a giant living room are located on the lower level with a walk out to the lake front. Enjoy quiet evenings on the screen porch as you watch the wildlife passing right outside your door!
Let yourslef enjoy the sandy, private lake frontage, great for fishing right off of the private dock while you watch for Eagles overhead. Cruise the lake by boat or paddle your way to the island located just off shore for a swimming adventure. Big Saint Germain Lake is a massive 1600+ acres known for amazing fishing and a plethora of water sports.
Come explore during the winter months to enjoy the winter sports the Northwoods are known for! Snowshoeing and fat tire biking trails are just minutes from the house, and the snowmobile trail connects directly from Shady Lane for over 500+ miles of snowmobile trail adventures!

Cozy cabin and beautiful lake view!

The perfect up north cabin! It has a wonderful view of the lake and a nice pier. The campfire pit area is fantastic and there’s ample space for kids to play. Everything was super clean and well kept. I can’t say enough great things about Dragonfly Inn. Thanks for the memories!

Beautiful up north experience!
by Sue & Roger KelandWe arrived at the Dragonfly Inn to find a Doe eating in the front yard. The layout of the house was perfect, our kitchen had everything we needed and our view each morning at breakfast was the lake with coffee on the large deck. What a beautiful place to rest and unwind. We were greeted by an otter, two eagles in a nearby treetop and hummingbirds at the feeder all day (the owner provided). We rented a boat and had much luck by the island as well as off of our pier. If you are looking for something special in a lake house.....look no further!

Slice of Heaven!
by Corr familyMy family and I consider the Dragonfly Inn a little slice of Heaven. We try to get there several times a year and every visit is amazing. Some of the highlights for us are the sunset views from the pier at night, the shallow, sandy, clear water off the shoreline and pier for our kids to safely swim, the close proximity to the flee market and our favorite restaurants (Sisters Saloon and Blink Bonnies), and the perfect layout of the house. We have slept up to 13 people but usually vacation with 6 (Very comfortable beds as well). Both scenarios have worked wonderfully and we always anxiously await our next visit!
Thank you for taking the time to write this amazing review of your stay with us! We are so glad to hear that staying at Dragonfly Inn was so heavenly, we agree it's a perfect Northwoods destination. We hope your next visit is already scheduled so you aren't waiting too anxiously to be back in this little slice of heaven.
