The Maki Cabin, on the shore of crystal-clear South Twin Lake, is a meticulously maintained property providing all the modern amenities needed for a care-free and magical Northwoods vacation.

Arriving at the Maki Cabin, you’ll be immediately enveloped by the pristine and large manicured landscape. The property is level to the lake and boasts a sandy bottom and private beach. Watch your kids swim from the 80’ pier with fishing bench or while relaxing on the wrap-around deck with ramp. Electrical outlets located by the lake shore and the deck for your convenience.

The cabin is the perfect blend of rustic Northwoods décor and modern conveniences. The bright open-style living room and dining area provide the perfect setting to relax and dine while enjoying a cozy fire in the wood-burning fireplace. Both bedrooms provide privacy and space with one queen and one twin bed in each. Wall décor of family and community history along with the rich knotty-pine paneling and oak floors provides a cozy atmosphere.

Spectrum high speed internet and a Smart TV allow you to stream your shows using your account information. Games and puzzles are provided for family nights. Complete the day with a lakeside campfire with firewood provided by owner.

South Twin Lake spans 642 acres and connects to North Twin Lake providing an additional 2,788 acres of crystal-clear water to explore and fish. The Lakes have an envied reputation of producing prized Musky, Walleye, and Bass. Enjoy the eagles, deer, (a moose was seen crossing South Twin September 2023) and other wildlife from your pontoon boat, paddle board, or kayak.

Nearby, you’ll find the towns of Conover, Phelps, and Eagle River where there are many shops, pubs, restaurants, and attractions. ATV, biking, and walking trails are also nearby with almost direct access.

Great stay!

Tahnks for renting your beautiful cabin to us again. The lack of mosquitoes was an unexpected pleasure! Caught bass and northern. Weather variable but mostly gorgeous days for our 3 weeks. Had a great stay!

Beautiful & Relaxing.

We absolutely loved our time once again at the Maki Cabin. Relaxing in the lake. Enough walleye caught for a fish fry. Our dog loved jumping into the lake, swimming and even paddle boarding with my husband.
